Summer program in Cuenca, Ecuador |
||
| All St. Andrews students are encouraged to participate in an international experience. Since 1990, St. Andrews has maintained an exchange program relationship with the University of Cuenca. The program gives students the possibility to experience a Spanish speaking country in an authentic context. The program is small which gives the students the capability to interact one-on-one with Cuencan students at the University of Ecuador. Participation in the Cuenca program is considered the pinnacle of a student’s engagement with Hispanic culture, language and interaction. The program is specifically designed to give the student daily interaction with Cuenca students, allow the student physical interaction (rafting, hiking, cycling, horseback riding, etc.) with the country’s natural beauty. In addition, programs are provided to help the student learn about the country’s natural beauty and efforts to conserve their natural environment. | ||
