St. Andrews Preparing for 2010 Reaffirmation Project
Dr. William Loftus has been appointed Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness. With his long tenure at St. Andrews including his service as Vice President for Academic Affairs and subsequently as interim president, Dr. Loftus will provide positive leadership for the planning, research, implementation, administration and evaluation of the college-wide institutional effectiveness plan, assessment and planning programs.
He will consult with administrators, faculty and staff in developing systematic, broad-based planning and evaluation processes. He will also advise and assist in ensuring compliance with the principles of accreditation issued by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools relating to institutional effectiveness and student outcomes.
He will also lead efforts in preparation for the 2010 SACS reaffirmation project. Dr. Loftus was director of the 2000 decennial reaffirmation project and was also director of institutional planning from 1995-2001. |
