In their own words...
"Living on campus is a life experience I have learned so much from. We eat together, watch TV together, study together, and do absolutely nothing together. When I go home for breaks, it's like I'm leaving my second family!"
- Jess Cutler, Class of '10, from FL

SAU Professor makes top 10 in Playwriting contest

St. Andrews University Instructor in English and Writing Ted Wojtasik was notified over the summer that one of his plays made the top 10 in The Dubuque Fine Arts Players National One-Act Playwriting Contest for 2012.

The play, "A 1964 Thunderbird," was one of several he wrote over the past year.

The Dubuque Fine Arts Players present the top three plays during the annual festival held in late August.

Established in 1977, the Dubuque Fine Arts Players' one-act play contest is the oldest in the United States and now receives entries from across the country and around the world. Annually, 150 entries are reviewed and judged, with comments returned to all the playwrights.
