Ride-Like-A-Knight to hold horse show Saturday at St. Andrews

Laurinburg, N.C. - The Ride-Like-A-Knight Therapeutic Riding Program at St. Andrews Presbyterian College will hold a show on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. at the Equestrian Center located on Hasty Road.

"The natural horsemanship class will be doing an obstacle course with their horses to start the event," said coordinator Liz Dulski, a St. Andrews senior. "Next some riders on the St. Andrews Dressage team have put together a drill team pattern for everyone to enjoy."

Then the competition will begin with community riders in the Ride-Like-A-Knight program.

"The riders have to navigate a trail course demonstrating skills they have learned over the semester," said Dulski. "After completing the course, each rider will receive a ribbon corresponding with a skill they accomplished."

The show marks the end of the semester for the riders and the lessons at the equestrian center.
