Center for Adult and Professional Studies
Cost of Attendance
St. Andrews is committed to providing an exceptional education at a reasonable cost. Studies show that a college education is one of the best investments one can make for their future. Over a lifetime, the gap in earning potential between a high school diploma and a B.A. (or higher) is more than $1 million. Whatever short term sacrifices you make for a college education are more than repaid in the long term. Support for all St. Andrews opportunities is derived from tuition and fees, endowment and gifts from alumni, foundations, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), the Synod of the Mid-Atlantic, individual churches, and other friends of the College. St. Andrews’ cost of attendance (tuition and fees,) remains below the national average for private four-year colleges and universities Annual charges for tuition and fees cover only a portion of overall costs, and remain at the lowest possible level consistent with the quality of St. Andrews educational programs and overall financially responsible management. Academic Year 2010 – 2011 Center for Adult and Professional Studies Student charges are as follows:
U. S. News & World Report has consistently recognized St. Andrews as one of the “nation’s best liberal arts schools”. At St. Andrews, we believe that students hold the primary responsibility for the cost of education to the extent they are able. In an effort to make St. Andrews an affordable value, nearly 90% of our students receive some type of financial assistance. |
