ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

Prospective adult students over age 23 with a minimum of 24 transferable college credits:

Applicants who have completed 24-60 transferable hours of college credit with a minimum GPA of a 2.0 on a 4.0 scale and are at least 23 years of age will be considered for admission as adult learners. Students currently enrolled must submit an official partial transcript at the time of application, and these classes may be included in the 24 required college credits. The degree or credits must be earned from a regionally accredited institution or an institution whose credits have been reviewed and approved by the American Council on Education.  

Prospective adult students who have completed an Associate’s degree:

Prospective adult students who have completed a minimum of 60 transferable semester hours of credit (equivalent to 90 quarter hours) or an Associate’s degree are considered for admission without regard to their age. The degree or credits must be earned from a regionally accredited institution or an institution whose credits have been reviewed and approved by the American Council on Education.   Students currently enrolled must submit an official partial transcript at the time of application.

Prospective adult students who have completed a Bachelor’s degree:

If a student has a Bachelor’s degree from another college, he or she may earn a second Bachelor’s degree from St. Andrews.  Prospective students in this category are considered for admission without regard to age.  St. Andrews graduates may take additional courses as special non-degree seeking students.

Special Admission for NON-Degree Seeking Students

Students over the age of 23 who wish to participate in courses provided by the Center for Adult and Professional Studies but do not wish to pursue a degree, may apply and be admitted as non-degree seeking students.  A non-degree seeking student may enroll in a maximum of 30 semester hours.  Enrollment beyond 30 hours requires admission as a degree-seeking student.
