Admission Requirements
Prospective transfer students should request an official transcript from each post-secondary school attended. Transfers who have not completed an Associate Degree must also submit a high school transcript and SAT or ACT scores. This requirement may be waived for students who have been out of high school for five or more years. An interview is usually requested for applicants with a college GPA of less than a 2.0.

Since St. Andrews operates on a Rolling Admissions basis, there is no deadline for applications. However, priority for scholarships and financial aid is given on a first-come basis. Students are notified of the Admissions Committee decision within two weeks after the application is complete.

Transfer Credit

Transfer credits from other regionally accredited institutions will be granted in full, provided that the courses taken correspond to work offered at St. Andrews. Courses passed with grades of C- or lower are accepted only if the student's overall average is 2.0 or above at that school. A maximum of 65 credits may be transferred from a two-year school. Students who have already earned a 4-year degree must complete at least 30 credits at St. Andrews to earn a second degree.

Transfer students may request an unofficial evaluation of transfer credit at the time of admission. Official evaluation is completed by the Office of the Registrar when transcripts are received for all courses completed.
